PRICE REDUCED for a quick sale. This is Dennis, our much loved late bay VW type 2 camper van. He started life in 1975 as a panel van, and was converted by a previous owner. We have owned him for 17 years, but sadly he needs bodywork repairs that we can't do ourselves, and we have taken the difficult decision to sell Dennis on as a project. Lots of really good aspects: MOT to July 2018, and will be MOT exempt from May 2018 onwards due to the new 40-year rule. So, you will never have to MOT it again! Tax exempt. Has only done an average of 500 miles per year, ever since we've had it. Good runner and very reliable Nice powerful engine, easily does 80 if you want to. Devon style interior, with rock and roll bed, cooker, and sink with pump. A bit tired, but all working OK. Bug pack exhaust. He is a great sounding van. Gets lots of looks from passersby and other drivers. Lowered just the right amount for best looks and driveability. Handles really nicely round bends and in crosswinds. 15 inch BRM style alloys, with good tyres all round. Three quarter length roof rack included Black upgraded cab seats included Drive-away awning included (the external sun visor shown in the photos is NOT included in this sale) Structurally the van is OK, and the underside and running gear are surprisingly good, but the upper bodywork needs significant attention all round. Hence the realistic project price. We have now reduced the price to £5,700 for a quick sale. This is now a real bargain.
