SUMMARY You often see type 2 restorations being sold with large tickets, but on close scrutiny they often do not stand up to expectations, well not in this case, I have seen thousands of VW buses in shows and ralliea from all over the UK, I have been all over this wonderful masterpiece of a bus and can honestly say that I have never in my life seen anything that even comes close to it , the finish is just sublime and a testament to all those that took part in creating this wonderful masterpiece, this is an extremely well thought out build to make it the best it can possibly be. To create a bus with this specification at today’s prices would cost in the region of of £70,000. Since this masterpiece was created she has covered less than 2,000 miles in 5 years, she has been in Volksworld magazine in which she was taken for a days photo shoot in Cambridge. She has always been garaged, and never been used in the rain or winter time. Todays asking price of £37,500 is nearly half of what it would cost now to build.
