Although this car was manufactured in Cleveland America it spent the first part of its life as an Embassy car in South America so it was factory fitted as a right hand drive. It is a very original car with the Peerless engine/gearbox/ and running gear along with the original chassis unlike a number which were fitted with the continental engine. After its service as an Embassy car it was used as a taxi and then transport for an English speaking school as it has 7 seats! The Headmaster had it refurbished and exported to the the UK where it spent some time in a barn. Bought by the present owner in 1981 and refurbished again in the mid 80s. "Bugsy" has been a great family car but its time for it to go to a good home and be enjoyed again.
