Scimitar 1800ti 1988. One of the last of the SS1 With regret I am selling my very nice 1800ti. I had intentions of stashing it away but I’ve run out of room. I’ve owned 4 of these over the years and this is by far the best. Very low ownership. First registered on 1/11/88 by Reliant themselves then bought by a Mrs Simpson on the 1/04/90. She kept the car for 3 years then ownership passed to the current registered keeper who looked after it for 26 years. The car has been cherished over the years and benefits from numerous upgrades. To name a few- SS Tank SS Exhaust SS Cooling pipes SS Braided brake hoses Vented disc conversion Copper brake pipes Polybushed New window quarter lights Front Spax shocks Newly refurbished alloys, polished rims with new vredestein tyres, only been to the MOT station. Even has the original black caps for the nuts. New Battery and moved to the boot. New water pump and cambelt in 2016 The car also comes with loads of paperwork detailing word done, parts and handwritten details. Service book with 14 stamps. 12 previous MOT certs. The car shows 104000 miles but the owner was offered a brand-new crate motor from Reliant when the factory closed. There was nothing wrong with the original but he had the new engine fitted along with turbo and gearbox. This has only done around 30000 miles so is fresh. The interior is really clean, good carpets and original leather seats in very nice condition, just a small nick on the passenger seat. Factory hard top fitted and also comes with a new heavy vinyl soft top and frame (This need fitting. Still has the protection cover on the rear window) Body is very good, shines well with minimal age-related marks. Dealer plates fitted. Polyurethane panels with a galvanised chassis so no corrosion issues. MOT was valid to June but I have put a full 12 months ticket on today. Recent service, the car is ready to enjoy.
