The Snipe is a series 4 estate. Chassis number B8200938 and was built in 1962. It is an automatic with no power steering. I have obtained a power steering unit from an imperial and although not fitted it will go with the car. 2965c.c. engine and all drives well. It was exported to Australia when new and was owned by a couple who lived in a small town in Western Australia near Perth. They kept the car for approx 35 years until both had passed away. The car (named FLO after the first owner) then went in to a car museum in Perth for the next 10 years. When the museum decided to sell the car it was purchased by the original owners nephew so back to the same family. I bought the car from him (Paul West) 3 years ago and shipped the car back to the UK. I had the car inspected by the Humber club who supplied a dating certificate which enabled me to get the car registered with DVLA. When I first got the car I had a set of new carpets fitted, a new brake servo and a full service done. The MOT in 2015 was done at 79253 miles and the following year at 79281. Only 28 miles in a year. The current mileage is 79282 just the 1 mile back from the MOT station. As you can see I just do not use the car as I have too many classics to choose from. The car will have a fresh MOT for the new owner.
