For Sale – Hillman Minx Series IIIC 1600 Rootes (1962 ...

For sale here is my rather delightful Hillman Minx Series 3C with the more desirable floor change and 1600cc engine. I have owned and used this car every day for 6 months and have covered thousands of miles without much trouble (whatever has gone wrong, I have upgraded). She has served me well now but it is time for me to move on as I am looking to treat myself to a Jaguar. When I first laid eyes upon the Audax shape Hillman Minx, it was easy to tell it's 50's American Studebaker design influences and this made me have to have one. She is absolutely lovely to look at, even if the paint is a little aged now. Rust has started to show from it's early 2000's blow over/semi resto but is a great starting point as it is for the majority solid. I have a list of receipts but originally it appears she is a Scottish lass from Edinburgh. Unfortunately the original registration was lost when they re-registered her and she is now identifiable via Aged Related plates.
