1987 Daimler Sovereign,3.6 straight 6,XJ40. This is a lovely example of the XJ40 shaped Daimler Sovereign,in a lovely shade of metallic red,with biscuit leather,it presents in excellent order. Rust free bodywork on top and exceptionally clean underneath and it drives just as you'd hope,with smooth,quiet acceleration,smooth gearchanges,sharp brakes and a lovely,smooth,rattle free ride.Just 84k miles and a very extensive history file,full of bills,receipts and old mot's. The interior also presents in excellent condition,no tears or splits in the upholstery,excellent carpets and roof lining.There is a little bleaching to the edges of the wood veneer,but otherwise the interior is lovely.The alloy wheels are in mint condition and all four tyres are recently replaced and a quality brand. The car will be supplied with a full 12 months mot when sold.
