We have come across many low mileage MG's in our time and are very often disappointed in their condition. Being used is not what kills these cars, if they are stored in damp conditions then corrosion will set in to even the least frequently used cars. This car had a great start by being treated to a full Ziebart rust proofing when new. Its first owner looked after the car almost to the point of obsession, documenting fuel used and putting pen to paper on the pro's and cons of different tyre options. He kept ownership of the car from until 2003 when at 20,000 miles it passed to its second owner. She used the car sparingly and has covered just 2000 miles in the last 15 years. The car has always been garaged and I would be very surprised if it has ever seen a salty road (or even a wet one for that matter!!) This car must be seen to be appreciated, there are cheaper cars out there and there are restored cars but to find such a beautifully preserved example is always the collectors preference.
