This is a Pilgrim Sumo MK2 in the original gel coat dark blue with a cream leather interior – absolutely the best combination. Originally built in 1995 and correctly registered as a Pilgrim Sumo, dated 1979 based on the original donor vehicle. The engine is a 3.5l Rover V8 which was rebuilt in July 2018 and the cylinder heads ported by Cylinder Head Developments and is now fitted with Edelbrock Performer carburettor and an Edelbrock Performer manifold. All coupled to a R380 Rover 5 speed gearbox also rebuilt in July 2018. The exhausts are underslung and sound fantastic. The car has done 11,300 miles and has an MOT until September 2019 and comes with a history file including all the previous MOTs. This represents a great opportunity to purchase a Cobra replica for less than the cost of building the kit. They are rarely available at this price with the added benefit of a rebuilt engine and gearbox plus it’s already done 11,000 miles to get rid of all the original build gremlins.
