Available for purchase for the first time in the UK in over 12 years, this very rare Targa top convertible is the first example of the series 2, of which about 28 were built; produced between 1978 and 1986. Only 100 or so in all were made in this Zagato of Milan body style with also about 35 series 1 and about 30 of the Beaufighter and one Beaufort being built. This car was first shown at the UK Motor Show at the end of 1977. The car has been totally renovated at a cost in excess of £80000, with new leather seats and internal trimmings, new carpets, new radio, bare metal respray, refurbished engine (current mileage only c8500), new gearbox, new radiator, new servos, brakes discs etc. All invoices, MOT’s, and cherished number available. The Targa top lifts out and stores in the spacious boot and the de ville rear quarter goes down, to give full 4 seater luxury convertible driving in this ‘Gentlemans’ Carriage’.
