Description Recently restored rare 1977 RHD VW Viking Spacemaker Camper van. Very reluctant sale of our lovely ‘Beatrice’ in VW Baby Blue and white. Good to go. (free road tax as from Jan 2018) and MOT June 2018. £1000’s spent on restoration in last 3 years. Comprehensive history since 2006. 1600cc Vege reconditioned engine fitted in 2016 with 1600 miles done since then. (unlimited mileage warranty until June 2018). New clutch kit and cv joint kit. New sub frame and front brake discs, pads, pipe and calliper recently fitted. All corrosion on chassis rails/uprights cut out and new panels fabricated and welded. Gutterails repaired and paintwork in good condition. Rewired in 2016 throughout to include split charge relay, interior lighting, passenger charging adaptor, cigarette lighter, CD Player/Radio with Aux-In and tow bar with fully working electrics. Complete with new leisure battery and Tungstone Titanium engine battery (warranty until April 2020). Front and rear new tyres with original VW chrome hub caps. Bespoke oak complete Viking interior (handmade by local Cabinet Maker) to match existing unit layout with plenty of storage and overhead storage, original sink with drainer and electric pump connected to water tank under body, has original gas hob (not fitted), F&M picnic basket dedicated for picnic storage. Self-supporting removable table. Original T2 VW seats recovered in pale cream leather with cream piping, slight wear to passenger cover. Matching door cards, interior cards and leather seat cushions (made to match original layout). Full length side elevating roof with re-laminated fibreglass rooftop. Comfortably sleeps family of 4 or 5 with canvas bunk bed in roof space and sleeping area above cab and boot. Seating area and cushions make roomy double bed. New Pop top canvas remade to existing design in Red/White Candy stripe with zipped air vents and window areas with roll ups. New head lining in roof area. RHD (sliding door conveniently on correct side – safer for children). Minor niggle - misplaced this door key but can unlock/lock from inside. Seats 7 with 5 fixed seat belts. Blinds to windows in two-tone fabric (deck chair stripe on outside/vintage floral on reverse with scatter cushions and bunting to match. ‘Madmatz’ chequer tiling in Charcoal and Ice to floor area with new rubber walk through and rear hatch matting and pair under seat floor mats.
