A 1977 Morgan +8 with 5 speed gearbox and carburettors. It was subject to a nut and bolt restoration to concours standard between 1994 and 1998 and has done 9800 miles since and still in immaculate condition! I have owned it for 25 years and it has never been on the road when wet and 'sorned' every year between November and March. It is now 40 years old and registered as 'Historic' so now road tax exempt. Large history file with photographic record of restoration. The engine is mildly tuned with a 'crane cam, HC Vitesse pistons, blueprinted and gas flowed head with stainless valves, estimated to give about 200bhp and is both powerful and tractable. Recent modifications include electronic ignition, geared starter motor, aluminium 'Mulfab' radiator, 'Mulfab' front steering bearings. New Toyo tyres in last 500 miles. Many more features incorporated when restored and has full weather equipment with new (unused) side screens, hood (black vinyl) with new back screen and vinyl tonneau all in excellent condition.
