I imported the car back in 2016. It has an MOT and is registered with a v5 registration logbook. Ive not used the car much and has only covered a 100 miles since the MOT last October. It is MOT and Tax exempt. The car is an older restoration. It’s an early VIN (Feb 1970) car but sadly not the original 1970 body shell. The back story being 2 brothers rebuilt the car approx. 8 years ago but the original shell was what they considered rusted out and beyond repair, they sourced another body from a dry state. The car looks to have its original arches and floor pans, no signs of rust repairs. It’s straight, the paint does have a few marks and the wing has a crack in the paint so probably a dent that’s been filled and since cracked. No bubbles in the paintwork. The early dash is crack free which is rare and seats have been recovered at some point. Drivers seat has a small tear in lumber support. It’s been totally stripped and repainted then rebuilt with new parts. It has an L28 engine Manual transmission 1970 wiring loom 1970 interior Later 260/280 suspension and body. If you want originality and an original early car then this is definitely NOT the car for you! Those cars are now fetching high money. Probably suited to someone who’s looking for a good Z car to modify or track at an affordable price in todays market. The car currently has no carpets (they were bad) as I removed them. Gives the opportunity to inspect floors.
