This MGB V8 Roadster started life as an MGB GT and was first registered on 2nd December 1970. In 1997 the owner decided to build a 'new' MGB V8 Roadster using a brand new 'Heritage' body-shell and work commenced at the beginning of 1998. The rebuild was carried out using all new parts and as far as we can tell, very little from the original GT was transferred across to the new bodyshell apart from the Chassis/Commission numbers and the Registration number! The new Heritage shell was painted in a beautiful Burgundy Metallic and everything on this car is new including a new 3.9 litre Rover V8 Fuel injected Engine & 5 Speed Gearbox, V8 Rear Axle, V8 Brake Discs, V8 Poly-bushed Suspension + Spax adjustable Shock Absorbers, Steering column and Rack, uprated Propshaft, Tubular Manifolds and Stainless Steel Exhaust, all new Chrome fittings including bumpers, Grille, mouldings, windows and 1/4 lights, front windscreen, glass, all new rubber seals throughout, new wiring looms, new hydraulics for Brakes & Clutch, ECU + ancillaries, Radiator + Electric cooling fans, Petrol Tank, new interior including Beige Leather Seats piped in Burgundy, carpets, Walnut Dashbord, all instruments and switches, Centre Consul, Wooden Mota-Lita Steering Wheel, new Hood frame + Black Mohair Soft Top, 15" Mini-Lite style Alloys with new Dunlop 205/50/15 Tyres and much much more!
