Triumph TR6 1975 LHD Hi, I’ve decided that I have too many car projects, including a Lotus Europa, MGB GT & Morgan 4/4 and I have realised that I just don’t have the time to restore them all. I purchased this really good looking TR6 from America last summer (all taxes paid) and have hardly touched it. The body is in very good order and as far as I have been able to establish so is the underneath. The car had been stored in a darkened dry garage for a considerable number of years, hence the good condition of the bodywork. It really just needs all the mechanical side to be restored/refreshed. The engine turns no problem but the carbs are leaking so I have not tried to fire it up. The interior is in pretty good order with only a small 3 inch wear problem on the back of the drivers seat. It will need the hood replacing as this is opaque. I have sourced a replacement stainless steel exhaust to replace the mild steel one currently on the car, this will need to be fitted. The front bumper will probably need re-chroming but the back one is fairly good. 2 of the wheel trims will need replacing. In short as this is a relatively low mileage car this is a brilliant basis for a restoration for a mechanically minded person with no expensive and time consuming bodywork to do.
