Selling this 1989 Mercedes Benz 300CE Coupe on behalf of my father who is now in very poor health. It has a full history as far as I know, certainly from 1995 when my father bought the car. He has a thick file full of all the work ever undertaken on it which, obviously, would be passed with the car. This isn’t just basic servicing, it’s active work undertaken to keep the car in the best possible condition. The 300CE Coupe is one of the last true ‘classic’ styled Mercedes Benz. An extremely well kept and serviced 300CE. Every winter for the last 20 years it has spent 5-6 months garaged securely and out of the bad UK winter weather. Finished in red, the body and paintwork are in great condition. The cream leather interior is in excellent condition, so both great plus points for a car that is 30 years old. Tyres are quite new and have good wear left. The styling is classic Mercedes Benz, so still feels right even in today’s terms. The car can happily be used for short journeys around town or will cruise very comfortably on longer journeys. Inside it has two very roomy and comfortable seats for driver and passenger. The rear seats are pleasantly comfortable too, even for adults. This model has air-conditioning, electric windows, Blaupunkt stereo tape system, central locking and sun roof. The 300CE Coupe has a four-speed auto transmission gearbox. Couple with the 3 litre V6 engine this is still a capable and nimble car given its age and size. Think the official stats would state something like 0-62 in 8 to 8.5 seconds, with a top speed of around 140mph.
