For sale a one registered keeper Marcos 3 litre. This car is a real headturner. Stunning in fact. Probably the only unrestored GT left and in gorgeous bahama yellow. Which is actually pretty much a very agreeable glamrock orange and suits the car perfectly. The steel chassis is original and totally sound. The interior as you can see is in all original excellent condition including the 8 track player and a fine selection of tapes in the centre consul. The cockpit of this car itself is a very nice place to be. The car even still has its original whiplash aerial! The bombproof Volvo engine is massively unstressed in these cars and lends itself to making the car a true effortless long distance grand tourer. The car comes with 2 x keys, original brochure and the original bill of sale. The body wears much of its original paint but would now benefit from some basic cosmetic rectification through age and general usage. The reason for my regrettable sale is I'm five foot six and cannot reach the pedals even with the pedal box adjusted as far back as it will go! (FYI the seats are fixed on all GT's with the entire pedal cluster moving back and forth by turning a knurled wheel on the facia. The designer was six foot five!) The car was laid up/dry stored up for many many years. However it drives superbly and its prolonged hibernation has as one would expect been in no way detrimental. A car can be original only once. The GT can be viewed London W11 outside of office hours. It is kept in a well lit secure underground carpark.
