Mechanic working on it exclaimed while poking below "F*in Nora. This thing's mint" because every time he scratched away expecting rust he was shown with the factory white paint. Two previous owners. Old post Here's a wonderful piece of Soviet engineering. The Lada is a strong everyday classic that gets attention anywhere. Even in Cornwall I've had people at car boots/parking lots etc that claim they aren't even car people have a lot of respect for it which surprised me and a few people had them as Taxi's that'll 'swear by them'. Even in car meet ups and on runs the people there have only said good things about them, even after the disappointment that I'm not another yank driver. They've become a unique opportunity to own and this one with a low KM/mileage is rarer again. Only two previous owners and I've only had the car several months. Why am selling? Simply because I've got another one, they're great. No matter if you want this as an everyday driver, project to turn it into something greater or your first classic car. The Lada is a wonderful and unique choice. The drive is smooth along all roads, I've had a couple of modern hatchbacks, Peugeot Partner van and a 1935 Austin as well as a couple of motorcycles and the Lada has been the most comfortable throughout it all along our Cornish roads. I have it's history including all documents that had it imported, Tax and MoT history. Haynes owners manual as well as the Soviet first aid kit and spare wheel. Sadly doesn't have the Lada tool kit, something I'm still looking for myself. Previous owner had some work done including new shock absorbers and I spent £300 on wielding in a few areas reinforcing the tow and replacing the metal/firewall above the exhaust. I've also fitted in a new radio so you're able to connect personal devices and listen to your own music. I paid £1500 myself for it so ideally like that back. Good luck!
