We have owned this unique vehicle since 2000, and a couple of years later it was converted to 4X4 by the well-known Louis Barbour. It has a special heavy-duty galvanised chassis and 50% up-rated springs, transfer box and prop-shaft to rear diff. It is probably the only type of 4X4 with fully independent suspension and inboard brake disks front and rear. We believe it is one of only three Dyane 4X4's in the UK (there are several 2CV 4X4's), and has never been off-roaded (looks almost standard and has normal ratio diffs). The body was rebuilt in 2007/8 - body shell blasted, repaired, epoxy primed and carefully re-sealed, before a complete re-paint in the original Jaune Mimosa. Many new parts including 4 high-quality f/glass wings, front goal post etc.. Full s/s exhaust. The main shell and chassis are in excellent condition, minimal bubbling on door bottoms. Has been dry-stored since early 2016 and now needs light re-commissioning. Might now need new kingpins (steering swivels), rear wheel bearings and disks). Price is firm for car MOT'd and ready to go. Will negotiate if you want to take it as is. Might take sound standard Dyane for re-build in P/X.
