The car is a DM4 seven seater limo (reg NWJ 313D ) 1979 It is an ex MOD car serving it's time out in the middle east, belonging to the British Ambassador Only two years ago Ian Coombs (chairman of the ASPC ) came over to Chesterfield by my request,to view the car,and gave me a valuation of what he thought the car is worth, his valuation was between £12.500 and £13.500 so if you would like to speak to Ian I feel sure that he will give you his honest opinion. The car has not been used very much since the valuation, only to keep things in working order. This is only due to ill health What has been done to the car White leatherette has been fitted in the rear of the car, along with black carpets, the carpets have been made by taking a pattern from the old set. All the work was done by a professional upholsterer A new carpet was also cut for use in the boot for presentation, i.e. wedding use where it would allow us to serve complimentary drinks to the bride and groom. The battery has been put into the boot for easy access and covered to blend in with the presentation All the brakes are in good working order following regular maintenance. It has a full set of good tyres. The car has been sprayed black over cream. All the chrome is in good condition. Two years ago new rear leaf springs fitted 18 months ago we fitted a new 3pc clutch bought through the club. Only last year year a brand new stainless steel exhaust was made and fitted from front to back.
