This car comes with the legendary 440 rb engine. The car is very very original and not been messed with inc all underneath...solid with no rot inc the sills. Runs very well and starts first time. Since owning the car ive had new calipers,pads and flexi hoses fitted to make sure the brakes were spot on for the mot and of course stopping. Its had a new oil pump,oil filter and of course oil change also new transmission fluid and seals. A new fuel filter...clear..to check fuel condition easily. Also new lights..sealed units...for the front. The engine runs strong and powerful with no knocks or noises and is all original. Again the paintwork is mostly original with slight signs of paint cracking on the front wing and some light marks here and there but nothing to take away from the car or the fact its 42 years old. The chrome work is in very good condition.....no rust or dents on the bumpers....which considering the size and width of them is amazing. All the tyres are good....good spare...if i ended up keeping the car i would invest in a new white wall tyre for the front but thats just personal preferance. The white brougham roof is also very good but does have one small crack at the rear window base and two small patches on the roof that have been repaired before i owned it.....again not bad for the age and nice to see the original vinyl roof intact. The interior vinyl seats are again in very good condition with no rips and a complete bench seat in front so can seat 6. This was the first and only year that the newyorker came with sensors in the seats to make sure your belts were done up before the car would start....still has the original signs on the visor.....may have been disconected as you can start up regardless. The carpet has been cut at some point to rectify a water leak so even though its all good it could benifit from a new carpet....around £150 for the full correct newyorker carpet from the states. Someone has also put the blowers onto one switch which works fine but again if i was to keep it i would put back to original. No radio but a area where on can go along with power ariel....another option fitted. Also the speedo has a mind of its own....the cable if fine so must be the clock....again around £ 120 for a new one. I want to be as honest as possible and welcome any questions. The car has a full 12 months mot and is of couse tax free.
