Lotus Elan first registered 1966 . The car was rebuilt a few years ago with a new spider chassis and a Tony Thompson big valve sprint engine. The owner decided to have a new series 4 drophead body fitted at the same time as the old Series III body was tired. The car has been repainted in the dark blue over white and done to sprint specification.There is a large history file with the car old logbooks old MOT is and a spider roll cage Is included but not fitted, there is a very good hood and a brand-new hood still boxed. The interior is very good order, the dash is original and the car still retains the signed Colin Chapman steering wheel.
