1958 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud 1 Convertible Aluminium bodied. Chassis number: SGE482 Registration number: LSC474 Chassis # SGE482 built by H.J. Mulliner to design 7410, was the coachbuilder's Earls Court Motor Show Car in 1958 and features all aluminum alloy construction. Just bare metal repainted in Gun Metallic Grey and has a stunning red leather interior. Each of its two owners has cared for it exactly 25 years. Only 21 cars were constructed with this particular body style. The cost was a stratospheric £9,000 Pounds Sterling, when a standard Silver Cloud Saloon was £6,000 Pounds Sterling. It has received a new stainless steel exhaust system. All wheel cylinders have been serviced and one of the two master cylinders was rebuilt. The bright work is in good condition overall and all windows appear very clean and original. The original convertible top works well and latches and unlatches nicely. Interior and wood appears very well preserved and shows as well stored and original. This is a very original and highly maintained specimen of a very low production luxury automobile. The tightness of the window regulators, lack of wear in door hinges, cleanliness of the interior and the amount of original style underbody/suspension components help support the low mileage showing as 25,169 original miles. Likewise, the door shuts & body lines are perfect with no ripples or ill-fitting areas whatsoever. The original owner's manual and tool kit are included with the car as are two-period antler suitcases.
